With any branding task, I like to get right under the skin of the organisation first – what it does, how it does it, who it serves, how it communicates… That’s why I ask a lot of questions and ‘tell people back’ what they’ve told me, so I can be sure I’ve understood things correctly – and they can be sure that the work is right as well as good.
