Shelter; newsletters and donor development
Key thought:
‘Make it raise funds without making it read like fundraising.’
I have worked with Shelter on the past few seasons of their Home newsletter; a job I really enjoy as they typically have really good stories to tell and aren’t afraid of packing a punch. I have also worked with the team on low-cost tweaks, additions or alternative drafts to existing appeal packs, to recognise and further cultivate potentially higher value donors, and on the email welcome cycle for new supporters.
Assets created:
Newsletters, cover letters, mid-value assets, emails – all co-created with the team at Shelter.
