When my long-term collaborators at Click Creative were asked to deliver a complete Advent campaign – for a new client and with short turnaround times – they approached me, knowing I could bring the right mix of creativity and proactivity to help them get all appeal components over the line.
I met with the client to understand more about CUF, its roots as aspirations, and the focus of this appeal. Then I made a site visit to a Place of Welcome in Nottingham, where I chatted with Colin, whose story was central to this appeal, and with Pastor Dave, whose support has helped Colin get back on his feet.
These important meetings enabled us to put authentic voices front and centre and to ensure that Colin had agency over the way his story was told. It also empowered us to foreground the need in a way that would both connect with supporters and encourage them to give
