‘It all starts with one’
The aim here was to highlight the experience of individual children, to give face and voice to the 58 million still excluded from education. We also wanted to show that reaching ‘the many’ starts with ‘the few’ – in this case, individual supporters reading the case for £million more. This sense of one-to-one helps to make a global issue more personal and to show that even in the face of a vast and global problem, one person’s action is still meaningful.
